If you’re looking for a Disney resort that is very reasonably priced, but feels like a deluxe resort - then you should consider booking Disney’s Coronado Springs! This resort immerses you in a magical Spanish / Southwest world like only Disney can do, in a clean, peaceful, and well manicured and maintained resort property.

From the decoration details to the beautiful lush and desert landscaping, you’ll find endless photo opportunities and things to admire and marvel at everywhere you look. After long, fun-filled but often chaotic trips to the parks, lighted paths wind through the quiet corners of the resort with soft Spanish music playing, making for peaceful and unforgettable evenings.

But it’s not all relaxation and zen - If you’re looking for a good time or fun with the kids, there are plenty of other amenities and activities to enjoy at Coronado Springs! The Dig Site Pool is among the biggest Disney resort pools, and even has a water slide and is adorned with a beautiful Mayan pyramid that doubles as a massive fountain. Right next to the Dig Site Pool you will find Siestas Cantina, a casual bar/eatery serving up delicious poolside bites such as burgers, sandwiches, nachos and drinks.

Also in the area of the Dig Site Pool you will find a dry playground called Explorer’s Playground, ping pong tables and Iguana Arcade. There is something fun for everyone in this spot!
There are plenty of places to eat on property. Quick grab-and-go to sit-down restaurants and upscale dining - you will find it here at Coronado Springs. During our stay we at at Three Bridges Bar and Grill situated at Villa del Lago over the central lake (Lago Durado). The service was great and the food was excellent - recommend!!
Another great order-at-the-counter / grab and go dining venue we ate at a few times was El Mercado de Coronado. It’s a great option for a quick breakfast, lunch or snack - and has plenty of Mickey shaped treats for the little ones! (Or for the adults! 😉) And as a bonus - they serve up Joffrey’s Coffee at the bakery counter at El Mercado - so I was able to get my daily fix of an Iced Shakin’ Jamaican to fuel up for a long park day!
These are just a few of the dining venues we tried - there is also Rix Sports Bar & Grill, Maya Grill (upscale dining), and Toledo Steak, Seafood & Tapas that are also great options as well.
Also right on site in El Centro is a full-sized Disney gift shop called “Panchitos” where you can pick up Disney souvenirs, stuffies, home decor, Magic Bands and anything else you may want or need! (Shown in our YouTube video)
We stayed in a Standard Village room in the “Ranchos” area of the resort. It was so beautiful and peaceful! The room was modern, clean and spacious and we loved it - you can also see it featured in our Coronado Springs YouTube video.
The kids loved it here, the adults loved it - we highly recommend staying at Coronado Springs during your next Disney World vacation!
